The Founder and General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Chancellor of the Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Bishop David Oyedepo, has emphasized his strong confidence in the power of Nigerians to settle socio-economic difficulties confronting the country, saying what is requested is for the people to rise as one and play their parts in the business of country working without fear or favour.
Oyedepo, who expressed this on Friday amid the university's fifteenth convocation
ceremony, noticed that only hard work by the people can make the country great again, including that nothing ever works without anybody at work.
According to the Bishop, the fact that his church, also called the Winners' Chapel is all inclusive recognized as the single church with biggest congregation and with the biggest single church auditorium means that more greater things to come from the nation.
He told the recently matriculated students of the institution to try to join the armed force of youths effectively prepared to lead the eagerly awaited change in the nation and the mainland of Africa, saying the hallmark of the ivory tower are the disciplinary, doggedness and commitment of both the staff and students to liberate the people from the shackles of unemployment, illiteracy and backwardness.
