FG to disburse $322m Abacha loots directly to Nigerians
The FG is making final readiness to disburse $322 million reserve repatriated from the records of previous Head of State, late General Sani Abacha in Switzerland to Nigerians.
The National Coordinator of the Open Government Partnership (OGP), Nigeria and Special Assistant to the President on Justice Reforms, Juliet Ibekaku-Nwagwu uncovered this as of late in an interactive session with newsmen.

*Day 1:*
The gate officially opened at 7AM today to usher in our over 500 registered participants for the 3-Day intensive training event.
Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki graced the workshop with his presence and was accompanied by Senior Special Assistant, Jobs Creation and Skills Acquisition, Mrs Ukinebo Dare.
The Governor addressed the youths on the role of government in job creation, youth employment and entrepreneurship opportunities within the state.
It featured training on various life skills for improved productivity and performance in the world of corporate businesses and leadership.
Over 50 renowned business and corporate leaders (Coach Alex Osagie, Blessing Irabor, Dr Nwaogwugwu Chinyere, Essence Tobi, Tolulope Upula, Jeremiah Onoge, Omoregie Osasere etc) in Benin graced the opening day of the event and served as mentors whom were paired alongside all participants present. This enabled better understanding of the discourse of day one-Life skills.
All participants received branded writing notes, pens, breakfast and lunch packages courtesy of the Nigerian Bottling Company.

President Buhari embarks on 2-day working visit to Morocco
President Muhammadu Buhari will start a two-day working visit to Morocco, the president's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, has said.
Mr Shehu, in a statement in Abuja on Saturday, said the visit was at the welcome of King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
He said the two leaders would examine financial issues influencing their nations, following earlier commitment in December 2016, amid the official visit of the Moroccan pioneer to Nigeria.
"In Rabat, talks will center around reinforcing existing concessions to the manure business, training participation, the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline venture and setting up an essential compound stage to saddle Nigeria's huge flammable gas assets and bolster Morocco's diammonium phosphate industry,'' he said.
The presidential aide reviewed that Nigeria and Morocco had in December 2016 consented to a joint effort arrangement to resuscitate the surrendered Nigerian manure mixing plants.

Mr Shehu said the president would be accompanied on the trip by governors of Ebonyi and Jigawa, Mr Dave Umahi and Alhaji Abubakar Badaru separately; and other senior government authorities.
