NBC Youth Empowered Benin, 2018.

*Day 1:*

The gate officially opened at 7AM today to usher in our over 500 registered participants for the 3-Day intensive training event.

Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki graced the workshop with his presence and was accompanied by Senior Special Assistant, Jobs Creation and Skills Acquisition, Mrs Ukinebo Dare.

The Governor addressed the youths on the role of government in job creation, youth employment and entrepreneurship opportunities within the state.

It featured training on various life skills for improved productivity and performance in the world of corporate businesses and leadership.

Over 50 renowned business and corporate leaders (Coach Alex Osagie, Blessing Irabor, Dr Nwaogwugwu Chinyere,  Essence Tobi,  Tolulope Upula, Jeremiah Onoge, Omoregie Osasere etc) in Benin graced the opening day of the event and  served as mentors whom were paired alongside all participants present. This enabled better understanding of the discourse of day one-Life skills.

All participants received branded writing notes, pens, breakfast and lunch packages courtesy of the Nigerian Bottling Company.

*DAY 2:*

Day two featured intensive training in Business skills writing, model business canvas, sales and negotiation skills, project

Evvmanagement and execution and lots more.

*Day 3*

There will be a Business Ideas competition on the final day of the workshop where the winning team will be supported with registration, training and support for grant by NBC. innovation idea challenge where grants will be awarded to all successful participants will good business ideas.

NBC will be giving *extra slots to the first 200 persons* who wish to participate in this year's Youth Empowered Benin, 2018.
