Fidelity Bank Organises Skill Acquisition Training For 500 Poly Students


As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, Fidelity Bank in association with Gazelle Academy Vocational Center has organized a free 5 - day skill acquisition on digital media and business enterprise for students of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi. 


The delegate of the Managing Director of the bank, Abdul Rahman Ibrahim, told
newsmen soon after the opening ceremony that the program was basically to small and medium enterprises (SME), to guarantee confidence by advancing undergraduates from tertiary institutions to start to end up independent in various parts of business enterprise.

He clarified that understudies will get preparing in different stages by the experts all through the term of the practice which as per him was the main program of this nature to be sorted out by the bank in the North and the second in the nation. 

Abdul Rahman additionally said that relying upon territory the students got preparing, the bank will figure out what help to offer them at end of the program to begin off "Well contingent upon which zone they practice on, we will now sit and thing of what to offer them, its offering back to the general public where we work ". 

The Commissioner of Higher Education, Alhaji Maigari Abdullahi who spoke to the State Governor at the occasion , praised the coordinators for the occasion while restating the dedication of State Government in advancing professional training in the state.
