A housekeeper, Bose Vitawan, who allegedly stole away with her boss' jewelry valued at N3m was on Tuesday brought before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates' Court in Lagos.
The accused, 24, is being attempted on two counts of conspiracy and stealing to which
she argued Innocent.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Daniel Ighodalo, said the accused with others committed the offenses on September 2 at No. 307, Banana Island, Lagos.
He affirmed that the accused fled with 18 pieces for gold watches, 15 bits of gold rings, 10 sets of gold jewelry and hoops and 10 outfit globules, all valued at N3 million belonging to her employer.
The offenses, he noted, negated Sections 285 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011.
The Chief Magistrate, Abimbola Awogboro, conceded her to a safeguard of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Area 285 endorses a three-year prison term, while Section 409 gives two years to guilty parties.
Further hearing has been fixed for November 9.
