Seven judges were earlier arrested in various states across the nation over
between Friday night and Saturday morning.

The judges in authority the previous evening are: Inyang Okoro and Sylvester Ngwuta of the Supreme Court, Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court, Abuja, Kabir Auta of the Kano High Court, Mu'azu Pindiga of the Gombe High Court, Mohammed Tsamiya of the Court of Appeal, Ilorin and the Chief Judge of Enugu State, Justice I. A. Umezulike. They would be charged in court soon.

A DSS source told Daily Trust that the judges were permitted access to their families, including that they were coordinating with the office.

"Despite everything we regard them. They are not being dealt with like basic lawbreakers.

"As a major aspect of the examinations, three registry staff from different courts were likewise welcomed for addressing", he said.
