EFCC goes after Fani-Kayode over new N4.9bn scandal


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has documented new money laundering charges against a former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode before Federal High Court in Abuja. 


Fani-Kayode, who was the Director of Media and Publicity in the campaign
association of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, is as of now confronting trial before the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court.

He is confronting 17 numbers of money laundering before the Lagos Division of the court, alongside a previous Finance Minister, Nenadi Usman, Danjuma Yusuf and a firm, Joint Trust Dimension Nig. Ltd. 

They were accused of unlawful maintenance, unlawful utilize and unlawful payment of cash to the tune of N4.9bn.
