A two-year-old boy, Eniola Ajakaye, has drown inside a drum of water while holidaying with his grandma in Aboru, in the Iyana Ipaja zone of Lagos State.
It was learnt that the police arrested the casualty's dad, Sunday Ajakaye, a
technician, and Sunday's 65-year-old mother, after the kid's mom, Mary, blamed them for complicity in the demise.
They were apparently kept at the Oke Odo Police Division for claimed murder.
An inhabitant, who talked on state of secrecy, said Eniola suffocated around 2pm on Foursquare Street, Ago 40 Estate, where his grandmother lived.
He said, "The lady had gone out for a congregation program, abandoning him with some other youngsters who had come to occasion with her.
"She was approached the phone that the kid was absent. Individuals hunt down him for quite a long time with no achievement.
"When it was night, a lady said she saw something inside a water drum in the house.
"When they checked the drum, they discovered Eniola there."
