The Obong of Calabar, Ekpo Abasi-Otu V, has approached the Cross River Police Command to arrest any masquerade found along the lanes of Calabar asking for cash.
Abasi-Otu decided on Thursday in Calabar amid the arrangement of Eminent People's
Forum sorted out by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Jimoh Ozi-Obeh.
The Obong, who was spoken to by Etubom Bassey Duke, the Chairman of Etubom's Traditional Rulers Council in the royal residence, said the call got to be important after arrangement of negative protestations about a few masquerades.

"I am approaching the police to capture any masquerade discovered asking for cash along the roads of Calabar."
