Former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has blamed officeholder President Buhari for claiming he doesn't get anything from the past administrations.
In an Interview with Frisky Larr, Obasanjo said, "When I assumed office in 1999, I acquired $3.7 billion for reserve, while
Buhari met $30 billion, right around 10 times of what I met then, and the cost of oil then was $9. When it got to $20, I was dancing.
"I know the cost is down now and with time, it will bounce up once more. What Buhari is doing at present is planning ground for Nigeria to exploit when it goes up once more," he kept up.
A few media reports had beforehand cited President Buhari saying he acquired a vacant treasury.
