BREAKING!!! ASUU Announces Date For Commencement Of Strike


The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has said that the union will commence a warning strike activity beginning on the 2nd of October, 2016, if the administration neglects to respect its agreements. 


Reports expressed that the ASUU Chairman, University of Abuja Chapter, Dr Ben
Ugheoke uncovered this while talking with journalists. 

He supposedly said, "We have attempted to discourse with the Federal Government yet they have been playing game with us, we will begin with a warning strike to show them we are not jokers." 

Dr. Ugheoku noticed that all endeavors by the union demonstrated unsuccessful while focusing on that the strike will keep going for one week, "and on the off chance that they don't give us listening ears we will begin the uncertain strike come November 2016." 

It will be reviewed that ASUU in a late meeting expressed that the Federal Government owes teachers N124bn as earned scholarly stipends from 2013 to 2016, aside another N495bn that had likewise aggregated as unfulfilled obligations.
