The Nigeria Customs Service. Ohun State Area Command said it has arrested a Toyota Coaster transport, containing wraps of Indian hemp, along Imeko Afon territory of the Idiroko fringe.
The transport purportedly belong to Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
The Controller of the command, Sani Madugu, revealed the seizure on Tuesday at the charge's base camp in Abeokuta
He said the driver of the transport was arrested.
He said customs agents, who were on watch on Saturday, arrested the vehicle.
Madugu said 211 bundles of cannabis were found in the transport.
Madugu, who was joined by the state Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Bala Fagge, stated, "The suspect, Abolade Bolaji, was gotten in
the Imeko bordertown while passing on the unlawful drugs into the nation.
"He hid packages of Indian hemp (cannabis) under the sacks of rice he was passing on with the vehicle to Abeokuta, when foe got up to speed with him.
"Our agents on watch halted the vehicle and sought it, just to find the unlawful medication."
Madugu later gave over the opiate to the NDLEA for advance investigation.
