October 1, Igbo quit notice stays, Arewa group insist


The Leader of the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, Shettima Yerima, who was among the young people who issued a notice to the Igbo to quit the 19 northern states 

The coalition of Northern Group said in Abuja on Tuesday that the October 1, 2017 final proposal given to Igbo living in the North to vacate the zone remained. 

The coalition, which is comprised of 16 distinct groups, talked at a meeting it held with a former Governor of Abia State, Chief Uzor Kalu.

the meeting.

He said however the groups in the coalition had held meetings on the final proposal, they presently couldn't seem to lift the quit notice.
