A 34-year old man, Ayodeji Babalola, on Friday showed up in Ebute Meta Magistrates' Court in Lagos for purportedly impersonating as the Oba of Lagos.
The accused, whose address is obscure, is confronting a four-count charge, verging on false portrayal, taking, deceitfully acquiring cash and goal to cheat.
The prosecutor, Insp. Oladele Adebayo, told the court that the accused submitted the offense June at No. 2, Ogunkoya St., Ekutu, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State.
He said that the accused introduced himself as Oba Babatunde Rilwan Akiolu to one Ajoke Moriselade under the affection to dupe the complainant.
The prosecutor said the charged guaranteed he was prepared to give his opening at the proposed Lekki Airport speculation to her.
Adebayo additionally told the court that the
blamed insincerely requested the whole for N15 million from Moriselade for the acquirement of the said space.
As per the prosecutor, the offenses repudiate Sections 312, 380(1) and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
