How Parish Priest Escaped Tragic Death At The Altar During Anambra Church Attack


Details have been uncovering on how the parish priest at the Catholic Church where numerous people were killed amid mass, got away demise. 

A survivor of the attack carried ouy at the St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra on Sunday morning, has portrayed the awfulness they experienced as gunmen raged the congregation. 

He additionally said that the Parish Priest could get away from the gunshot when he removed his cassock and hid at the alter while the gunman proceeded with his shooting binge. 

Numerous worshippers were killed at an early morning catholic mass shooting by an obscure gunman who raged the congregation at Ozubulu in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State. 

Ohamadike, stated, "We were in the congregation and I was to deal with the second perusing. As the main perusing was still on, I heard a sound like a thunder. 

"I jumped under a long form in the auditorium and from that point raised up
my head a bit and saw a young fellow with a gun shooting and individuals kept running every way for safety in confusion.

"I remained where I was and that was around 5:45am. The Parish Priest removed his cassock and hid at the alter while the gunman proceeded in the shooting binge. 

"When he had left, I helped in carrying the injured and casualties to the NAUTH."
