Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, has portrayed himself as being too old, making it impossible to be governor.
Talking in Kaduna on the need to change the State Civil Service, El-Rufai underscored on the requirement for youthful and experienced Nigerians to govern states in the nation.
The governor demanded that giving the more youthful era chance to lead the nation was the correct approach.
"Public administration is for youths. I'm too old, making it impossible to be a senator. I ought to have been a governor when I was 40-something.
"That is the right age since you are active, you have experience, you can put in extend periods of time. I know how long I could put
in when I was the minister of FCT, I can't do that now.
"We simply need to figure out how to offer route to the more youthful era and, in Kaduna, we are dealing with that."
