Emir of Kano disowns social media accounts


The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II disowns social media accounts opened in his name. 

Sanusi said in a statement on Friday in Kano, that he never approved any individual or association to open to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or whatever other online media account nor post any message for his sake. 

The traditional ruler talked through his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Munir Sanusi. 

He clarified this ought to put to rest arrangement of calls and enquiries to the office of the Emir on some indicated
pernicious and fake social media accounts for the sake of the ruler.

Sanusi noticed that the present advancement is coming after a prior advertorial renouncing a fake Facebook and Twitter accounts made for the sake of his Highness. 

He bemoaning that the fraudsters have stayed unwavering in their terrible demonstrations. 

"We have authoritatively told the managers of the fake Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other online networking accounts asking for that the records be shut promptly notwithstanding distinguishing the identity of the culprits. 

“It is important to reiterate that the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, has persistently stood for the unity of the nation regardless of its diversity.

"He always emphasise the need for tolerance and respect for one another.”

Sanusi guaranteed that his standards as a traditional ruler and religious leader would be fastidiously protected and cautioned the fraudsters to stop forthwith or confront the consequences of their activity.
