FRSC agents arrest suspected traffickers with 17 underaged kids stuffed in a car


The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has uncovered that its agents in Kaduna State throughout their obligations appropriated a vehicle for over-burdening and broken windscreen just to later find owner of the vehicle are suspected child traffickers with minors going to an unknown destination 

The vehicle was making a trip from Kano to undisclosed area on 27th April, 2017, when the patrol team waved to the driver who declined to stop, however with the upside of the movement light at Dutsenma junction that turned red and the activity develop, he was compelled to stop which enabled his arrest. 

17 minors and 3 grown-ups (a driver, a lady and one other individual), totalling 20 people rather than just 9 people, were
discovered occupying the vehicle.

The Corps' Sector Head of Operations in Kaduna who met the driver and couldn't find a persuading solution with respect to the movement of the travelers, quickly guided the occupants to be taken to Kano office of NAPTIP for further investigation and essential activity.
