Fashola wins Minister of the Year Award

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing has won the Minister of the Year Award organized by City People Magazine.

The honor ceremony was held at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja on Sunday.

Read Mr. Fashola's comments at the ceremony underneath.

"It is constantly early for individuals from the general population to pick and choose a Team, who they like more..

So in a football club, we tend to pick the best striker or midfielder or defender.

Be that as it may, in doing as such, we once in a while overlook that what is most imperative is the group and the work they
do together; the Team work, that permits any striker, midfielder or defender to flourish.

There will be no great striker, midfielder and defender in a group that does not do well.

In this way aggregate achievement must be, and is without a doubt, more critical than individual acknowledgment.

A Government is the same as a football club, to the degree that they involve people of various gifts, interests and encounters who must cooperate to convey administration to the general population.

A successful team is led by a Great and resourceful manager, who often has a dependable assistant.
In our Government team, President Muhammadu Buhari has discharged that role effectively by picking a team of Ministers whose commitment to change is unquestionable and the Vice President has demonstrated his ability to complement this vision of change and his dedication to help midwife it. On their behalf I accept this Award.
