FG starts online registration of unemployed Nigerians


The FG will start the online registration of unemployed people in the nation on Wednesday. As per the Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations, National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Edmund Onwuliri, the improvement is a piece of the administration mission to keep a strong information base for unemployed people and give occupations. 

The registration, according to him, is in compliance with the third mandate of the NDE which requires it “to obtain and maintain a data bank on employment and vacancies in the country with a view to acting as a clearing house to link job seekers with vacancies in collaboration with other government agencies.”

Onwuliri said the structure for the online registration, being dealt with by the Directorate has been completed and ready for lunch; including that the NDE has likewise completed the system for the
online registration of unemployed people in Nigeria. 

He stated: "The online entry which goes live on Wednesday April 5, 2017, is intended to catch the important subtle elements of any unemployed individual. It will similarly fill in as work trade entry that will interface work searchers and businesses. 

There will be a reasonable show of the workings of the entry at the NDE remain at the on-going 28th edition of the Enugu International Trade on Thursday April 6, 2017. 

In any case, the portal can be accessed by signing on to www.jobsforall.ng. The Directorate sees this activity as a strong stride towards extending the adequacy of its employment creation procedure and a basic contribution to the way toward planning, execution, checking and assessment of projects and plans." 

The online portal will likewise fill in as a meeting point for occupation searchers and managers along these lines reducing the cumbersome procedure of registration among employers of skilled labours in the private and public sectors.
