INEC SUSPENDS 202 STAFF, PLACES THEM ON HALF SALARY


The Indepedent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended 202 work force who were prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for supposedly getting the N23 billion influence in front of the 2015 general decisions.

INEC National Commissioner in charge of South West, Solomon Soyebi made the disclosure amid a press instructions in Abuja.

The staff have additionally been set on half
pay rates uncertainly pending their arraignment by the security offices.

The commission had before suspended 23 discretionary officers who were arraigned by the Joint Police/DSS give an account of the Rivers rerun election on March 9, 2017.
