ClickMagic Films Academy [CMFA] is platform to raise star seeds – people who desire to become CELEBRITIES (NOT “stars”) in the movie industry. ClickMagic Films Academy is established to frontier a quality and affordable film education for students around the world with a passion to pursue a career in acting and filmmaking.

At ClickMagic Films Academy [CMFA] we aim at offering a practical approach to learning; no previous experience is required, because we believe “within you there is a seed”. Hence, we tap into your original potency and discover the secrets of your hidden potentials, develop your talent by maximizing your creative abilities, and then unleash the celebrity in you.

We achieve this by subjecting our members to a critical scheduled of Biennial camp training, hands-on workshops and instant experience.  We believe that “creativity is the key”, and so from the first day of our camp, our members are introduced to practical; they start to write, act, shoot, and edit their own films. We allow them make trials and errors, make mistakes and correct them, ask questions and get answers; for us, that’s the only way to spell success.

*SEASON 1 – THE CONTEMPORARY CAMP*

The first camp was held on February 1 – 8, 2015 in Benin City, Edo State where 18 members of casts and crew were signed in and certified with our USA Affiliate – The

Daniel Institute. It was a moment of serious learning, so much fun and games, team work, awesome experience, movie shoots, mingling, as the 18 members came from various part of Nigeria, which include: Bayelsa, Edo, Delta, Lagos, Akwa-Ibom and Port Harcourt.

During the season 1 camp, the members we though variuous topics, which included:

• STAGES OF PRODUCTION AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CREW,

• TIPS ON FILM ACTING, MAKING OF VIDEOS,

• PUTTING YOUR PASSION INTO ACTION,

• MONOLOGUE AND DIALOGUE

• ACTING CONTINUITY,

• MORALITY IN FILM INDUSTRY,

• BUILDING EFFECTIVE PRODUCTION TEAM (THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DIRECTOR, CAST AND CREW),

Out of the 18 that attended season 1 camp, we have directors, producers, writers and actors amongst them doing very well in the movie industry.

*SEASON 2 - THE EPIC CAMP*

As part of our focus to produce movies that will promote CULTURAL VALUES in our society, we are holding the Epic Camp, which will expose all members to our traditional and cultural values.

*WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND THIS FILM ACADEMY*

1. Explore the many facets of film. There are several ways you can go when it comes to a career in the film industry. On the one, this camp experience will allow you to explore the many different options available to you before you decide how you want your film career to progress.

2. Become an expert. Once you've found your preferred niche within the film industry, you can focus your studies to become an expert at the job you've chosen. This could mean honing your skills at screenwriting, Acting, technical directing, cinematography, editing, computer animation, sound mixing, or any number of other disciplines. But when you are knowledgeable about the latest technology and techniques and you have a firm understanding of your craft, you're much more likely to impress the people who are seeking your skillset.

3. Apply for internships. Of all the benefits you may gain during your time in the camp, perhaps the most important is your access to internship opportunities. Film is an industry where getting your foot in the door is no easy feat. If you can nab an internship (or several) during your time in every project, you have a much greater chance of meeting people who have the power to help you find work after the wrap.

4. Build a Resume. You'll no doubt participate in all manner of projects during your time in camp, either for class or independently. And the more you can add to your portfolio or demo reel, the better prepared you'll be to show your skills and experience when you start seeking jobs.

5. Network. Film is an industry in which who you know is just as important as what you know, and our film academy gives you the opportunity to meet the filmmakers of tomorrow; well know actors and actresses and put their info in your contact list.

3. Fill your form and submit with one passport photograph and  a 5 x 7 photo along with your signup fee of N20,000 payable to the same account on 31st March, 2017.
