My husband was sleeping with my personal assistants – Mercy Aigbe

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, says the present crisis shaking their marriage started a couple days after she found that her husband, Lanre Gentry, was sleeping with a certain woman and her personal assistants. 

The actress who had blamed her hubby for physical violence which she said affected her sight and made her drain inside for more than three weeks, unveiled this in another interview with BroadwayTV. 

According to her, inconvenience started after she faced him and it prompted an immense contention, which was turning brutal before she needed to stay silent. 

The actress who has since evacuated "Gentry" (her husband's name) from her

social media accounts, additionally uncovered the conditions that prompted the sad occasion.

Mercy said she had informed her husband that she was going to the burial of her colleague. After his aversion, she clarified that it would not be reasonable on the dispossessed since she had guaranteed to be there and even welcomed him to tag along. 

She said that her refusal to go and pick her hubby up while she was still at her designer's place maddened him. She said he headed to the scene of the service and started to beat her within the sight of everyone.

I let him know "Lanre, mo mama bi mo fun e" (deciphered as "I bore a child for you). 

When she was inquired as to why she has protected being battered by her offended spouse with reference to their notorious 2013 video, she stated, “I never for once came out to say that my husband did not beat me. The video people were referring to happened in 2013 when there were rumours of such and I recorded a video recording alongside my husband to debunk the claim. At that time, I had to do it to protect his image and my marriage. I had to do a live video at that time.”
