A former officer recognized as Saliu Tola, has unveiled that he represents considerable authority in kidnapping rich women for ransom.
The 53-year-old who was arrested in Asaba, Delta State by the police for his affirmed contribution in a progression of kidnappings, was said to have willfully surrendered from the Nigerian Army to raise a four-man gang of kidnappers.
Talking in Asaba, while paraded, the former soldier, who hails from Adamawa State stated, "My casualties have always been
females.
"I have never gone for my kind. I kidnap important young ladies, women and ladies and this has never fizzled us. I retired as an officer to focus on kidnaping.
"We didn't execute any casualty and no casualty had died in our grasp. We profit from the diversion (kidnapping) and set them free from that point."
The state Commissioner of Police, Zanna Ibrahim, in organization of the Command's representative, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, said Tola and his pack, now everywhere, for the most part trail their casualties to spots of enthusiasm, including restaurants, grocery stores, unwinding focuses and schools where they "jumped on them and carried them away in their holding up auto."
Ibrahim said the suspect was a famous ruffian due to his military experience.
The state Police manager noticed that Tola was at the skirt of beating his men's knowledge "yet his strategic withdrawal fizzled him and here we are today".
