No less than 14 individuals, the vast majority of them ladies, were killed when an electric transformer detonated amid a wedding in India's North-Western State of Rajasthan, the Police said on Wednesday.
The incident happened in a village close state capital Jaipur on Tuesday as local people were gathering at a house for a wedding capacity.
"The explosion occurred in the transformer found simply outside the house as individuals accumulated and ladies were singing people tunes,'' neighborhood cop Prahlad Singh said through the phone.
"Five individuals died on the spot. Witnesses said scalding oil from the transformer fell on individuals and their garments promptly burst into flames.
"Among the casualties were 11 ladies, a pregnant lady who was truly harmed in the
mishap lost her infant, 15 others were harmed,'' Singh said.
The state of six casualties was portrayed as basic, having endured 80 for each penny copies.
Police said the blast could have been because of poor support of the transformer even as the state government requested a test to decide the reason for the impact.
Experts likewise reported pay of $15,500 each to the closest relative of the perished.
