A former lecturer at the Department of Crop Production, College of Agriculture, Kwara State University, Malete, Dr. Solomon Oluremi Osunlola, has committed suicide.
It was accumulated that his wife had died around three months ago. Sources uncovered that the enlistment center of KWASU had written to advise him of his change to a contract staff from full time arrangement.
They expressed that Osunlola was thusly discouraged and begun getting out of hand while one of his companions offered to help him with an occupation at Landmark University yet he didn't present his certifications to the companion.
Different sources said after the change of arrangement to a contract staff, a friend took him to a cleric subsequent to seeing that he was depressed. The cleric was said to have advised him while his friend tailed him to his family in Ibadan.
The relatives who couldn't see him in the morning constrained his room entryway open and understood that he had committed suicide. The Director, Public
Relations, KWASU, Dr. IsiakaAliagan affirmed Osunlola's demise.
He stated, "The Management of KWASU, Malete, might want to elucidate that the late Dr. Oluremi Solomon Osunlola, was a Lecturer 1 in the Department of Crop Production, College of Agriculture.
He joined the administrations of the Institution on a full-time arrangement in 2010. In any case, amid staff check, it was found that the late Osunlola had effectively resigned from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Kwara Office, before taking up a full-time meeting with KWASU.
