President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday complimented the Super Eagles on their triumph over Chipolopolo of Zambia at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Eagles vanquished the Zambians 1-0 of every a Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier. The win ensured Nigeria's 6th appearance at the World Cup.
In an announcement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President depicted the triumph as "sweet, calming and a 57th Independence Anniversary blessing to the country."
