Kidnapped corps member rejects redeployment in the wake of her freedom in Nasarawa


The administration of the National Youth Service Corps has declared the arrival of a Corps member, Nwankpa Blessing, who was hijacked in Nasarawa State. It expressed that the corps member was healthy, and was being given all the essential physical and mental support.

The Director-Genera of NYSC, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, met with her yesterday. Kazaure communicated euphoria over her sheltered discharge, and gave her uplifting statements. 

He coordinated the NYSC Coordinator for Nasarawa State to give her everything the vital help all through the rest of the time of her
administration. Regardless of being offered chance to redeploy, Blessing has stayed in the state till she finishes her National Service.
