BREAKING: Wike sacks cabinet


Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, on Saturday, dissolved the State Executive Council. 

The disintegration of the council came scarcely two days after the Commissioner for Works, Bathuel Harrison, was relieved of his position. 

The Commissioner for Information and Communication, Dr. Austin Tam-George, had on Friday resigned from his position as the image maker of the state. 

Be that as it may, an announcement marked by the Governor's Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu, demonstrated that Wike had directed previous magistrates to hand over to
Permanent Secretaries of their particular services.

"Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has disintegrated the State Executive Council. The governor directed every previous commissioners to hand over to their particular Permanent Secretaries. 

"Governor Wike expressed gratitude toward the previous officials for their support of the state and wished them well in their future attempts," the statement read. 

In the mean time, he has felicitated with Nigerian Muslims on the effective fulfillment of the 2017 Ramadan quick, encouraging them to utilize the Sallah festivity to appeal to God for the solidarity of the nation. 

In a Sallah message, Wike exhorted Muslims to mirror the Holy Prophet Mohammed by soaking up the beliefs of give up exemplified by the Prophet.
