Adamawa state governor threathens to dump APC

The Adamawa State governor, Jibrilla Bindow, has griped against the way government appointments and projects concerning his state were being dealt with, notice he and his officials might be compelled to dump the All Progressives Congress if the grumblings were not tended to. 

The Chief of Staff to the governor, Abdulrahman Jimeta, made the complaint on Thursday, within the presence of the governor with no reproach, while tending to a group from the APC National Secretariat which was in the state to direct the north-east smaller than expected convention of the party.

Nollywood actress, Modupe Oyekunle Dies During Childbirth

It was a day loaded with grieving for Nollywood actors as the news of the passing of one of their fast rising actress Modupe Oyekunle.

Husband consents to divorce, requests N400,000 dowry refund

A 30-year-old lawyer, Usman Ahmed, on Tuesday asked his 25-year-old spouse, Zainab Abdulkadir, to refund the N400,000 dowry paid on her as a condition for divorce. 

Ahmed made the demand when he showed up before a Jos Upper Area Court, where Zainab documented a file seeking dissolution of the marriage. Zainab had looked for dissolution of the marriage for absence of enthusiasm by her husband.

FG starts online registration of unemployed Nigerians

The FG will start the online registration of unemployed people in the nation on Wednesday. As per the Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations, National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Edmund Onwuliri, the improvement is a piece of the administration mission to keep a strong information base for unemployed people and give occupations.
