Imo State Govt bans commercial tricycle operators


The Imo State Government has restricted tricycle operators from plying all streets inside the state capital, Owerri. 



Subsequently, commuters, including government employees, school kids, teachers and market ladies trekked long distances to their destinations. 

The stranded workers blasted the state government for "aggravating" their difficulty by restricting the much prominent methods for movement in the town. 

"They (government) said they were on a safeguard mission, yet the inverse is the situation.
