Akwa Ibom Youths Ambush Exxon Mobil With Coffin

Youths of the major oil community of Exxon Mobil, specifically Eket, Esit-Eket, Onna and Ibeno LGAs, on Monday morning left on a notice dissent for the oil giant to promptly migrate its headquarter to Akwa Ibom State.

The young people blockaded the entryways of the organization at its Housing Estate in Eket and the Airstrip with caskets and other
customary directives.

Talking in the interest of Afigh Iwaad Ekid, coordinators of the warning dissent, Mr Joe Etukudo said "time has come for Mobil to relocate to Akwa Ibom State in keeping with the presidential directives".

"Today is just a warning protest done in a very civilized manner, we will eventually shut down Mobil's operation both onshore and offshore if after fourteen days the company does not take us seriously", Etukudo said.

He thrashed the organization for being specific even in honor of agreements and work against individuals from the major oil community and Akwa Ibom indigenes as a whole.
