N-Power: 1,500 beneficiaries get monthly N30,000 allowance in Jigawa


More than 1,500 beneficiaries of the Federal Government's N-Power Job Scheme for 200, 000 youths across the country from Jigawa have begun receiving the N30,000 monthly allowance, Alhaji Bala Ibrahim, the State's Coordinator, said on Saturday. 

"The 1,500 recipients in the state have begun receiving bank alerts of N30,000 monthly recompense. 

"More than 30,000 graduates in the state applied for the programme,but 1, 500 were
taken," he told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse.

He clarified that a portion of the recipients, who were altogether screened at both state and local government levels, have been posted on their different place of task. 

Ibrahim included that the remaining ones, who had additionally been screened, would soon be posted on the different associations and establishments in the state. 

He, be that as it may, communicated worry over dismissal of postings by a portion of the recipients. 

He said payment of the allowance would be based on presentation of monthly clearance from their places of task. 

"The main test we are confronting is dismissal of postings by the recipients and that is normal. 

"Be that as it may, we are doing our best to address the circumstance," the N-Power coordinator said.
