University of Benin student drowned in River Benue during the just concluded Nigeria Universities Games Association (NUGA) which held at Benue state and hosted by the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi. 

According to a closed friend of the deceased, late James Odibo, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, James was warned not go beyond a particular point at the river.

Coursemates of the deceased who lamented the unfortunate incident described Late James as a loving and playful fellow.  One of his friends who took to their class Whatsapp group said the incident was quite unfortunate and could have been avoided.

FRSC agents arrest suspected traffickers with 17 underaged kids stuffed in a car

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has uncovered that its agents in Kaduna State throughout their obligations appropriated a vehicle for over-burdening and broken windscreen just to later find owner of the vehicle are suspected child traffickers with minors going to an unknown destination

Suspected herdsmen invades Professor Wole Soyinka's home in Ogun State

A United States young boy shot his 13-year-old sister in the back of the head after she gave him a birthday embrace in their Florida home.
