EdoJobs partners First Bank, Interswitch to train 42 new employees


As a feature of Governor Godwin Obaseki's drive to create employment and enhance financial inclusion, the Edo State Government has through Edo Jobs, utilized 42 people as enumerators and banded together with Interswitch Financial Inclusion Services to prepare the new employees from the three senatorial regions of the state on agency banking.

The activity is the first in a progression of exercises that will take off more than 500 organization brokers in association with Firstbank Nigeria and Interswitch. The skills development program equips beneficiaries with skills and expertise to become third party agents for the processing of cash deposits, withdrawals and payment of utility bills. 

Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Skills Development and Jobs, Mrs. Ukinebo Dare, said that the preparation is to a limited extent, a satisfaction of the Governor Godwin
Obaseki's administrations guarantee to make 200,000 occupations in the state. She included that the learners will likewise fill in as enumerators for the EdoJobs program, as they have been conveyed to give helped enlistments on the EdoJobs entryway from all LGAs in Edo.
