Postpone Edo gov election, DSS, Police tell INEC



Two security agencies, the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Security, on Wednesday, in Abuja, approached the Independent National Electoral Commission to delay next Saturday's governorship race in Edo State. 



They said the call was required by the risk of those they alluded to as "guerillas" and
"radicals" to bring about commotion in the nation between September 12 and 13.


Power Public Relations Officer, Mr. Wear Awunah; and Garba Abdullahi of the DSS, expressed this at a short media instructions in Abuja.
